Connecting to other networks with Metamask works the same every time. This guide will use xDai as an example.

Connecting to another network can have many reasons, your favourite project might have moved there, you want to try out something new or you just like how xDai sounds. Without further ado let me show you how to set it up.
You will need a Metamask wallet and that’s it. Did not set that up yet? Check out this blog post on how to do that.
- Click on the “Main Ethereum Network” button and select “Custom RPC” at the bottom.
2. Now that you clicked on “Custom RPC” fill out the fields as shown in the picture below.
Every network has its own data for that, so if you wanted to add BSC for example you would need to search for that as well.
Lastly, click “save” and that is it! You can now see it in the list of available networks and can switch between them freely in the network dropdown menu.
